1. The Wainikavika Rainforest National Park, Navua

 

The Centre for Sustainable Technology & Development is working with various stake holders, such as the National Trust of Fiji, Fiji Museum, Department of Lands, NatureFiji-MareqetiViti, Department of Agriculture, Department of Forestry (& GIZ), iLTB and the Ministry of Tourism, Water Authority of Fiji to develop 430 hectares of land donated by the Garrick family to the nation in the 1970's.

2. Fiji National University Farm Biogas Project

The Centre for Sustainable Technology & Development is investigating the base-case for a large, commercial scale (minimum 3MW electrical) biogas/bioenergy plant to serve the Navua FNU farm. This base case investigation will include the role the biogas/bioenergy plant can play as a catalyst for the creation of an holistic and fully integrated food, food processing, feed, fibre and bioenergy system.

3. 100&Change

 

100&Change is a MacArthur Foundation competition for a $100 million grant to fund a single proposal that will make measurable progress toward solving a significant problem.
